The Rebels fought extremely hard to comeback and defeat the playoff bound Crimson Tide 10-9 to close out their season. Jake Finnen put the team on his back with an amazing 7 goal performance capped off with his second game-winning goal of the season with less than a minute left in action. It was a total team effort as Jake Kronshage controlled the faceoff X and was relentless in his hustle to the ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Kellam Oden provided a huge spark with his first goal of the season on a blast from far out. Mac Ford dished out 4 assists in the effort. Nick Taras (1G) and Connor Kelly (1G, 2As) also scored goals for the Rebels. Andrew Lynch led the Rebels defensively and Nick Loverde played an outstanding game in goal as he recorded 18 saves.

Jake Kronshage (6Gs, 2As) led the charge as the Rebels posted their highest offensive output of the season. Jake Finnen (3Gs, 4As), Connor Kelly (3Gs, 3As) and Barron Mundorf (3Gs, 1A) all recorded hat tricks for the Rebels. The defense got into the scoring action as freshman LSM Rick Zaccaria (1G, 1A) freshman defenseman Brian Farewell (1G, 1A) and freshman defensive midfielder Joe Loden (1G, 1A) all posted points. Sam Doub (2Gs, 2As), Tony Morien (1G, 2As), Nick Taras (3As), and Jimmy Peterson (1G) all scored as well. 

Connor Kelly (5Gs, 2As) led the way offensively for the Rebels for a total of 7 points. Senior Tony Morien (1G, 2As) and junior Jake Kronshage (1G, 2As) scored their first goals of the season, respectively, as they and fellow midfielders Sam Doub (2Gs, 1A) and Jake Finnen (2Gs, 1A) all recorded 3 points. Mac Ford (1G, 1A), Matt Bulthius (1G, 1A) and Jimmy Peterson (1G, 1A) also scored for the Rebels. Defensively, freshman Adam Silva had a stellar performance with several takeaway checks. Nick Loverde posted 15 saves.

The Rebels lost a hard-fought game to defending SELC champs Florida State. Connor Kelly (3Gs) and Mac Ford (2Gs, 1A) led the way offensively for the Rebels. Goals were also contributed by Max Snider (1G, 1A), Jake Finnen (1G, 1A), and Barron Mundorf (1G, 1A). Sam Doub also contributed an assist. Nick Loverde held strong with 18 saves on the day.

The Rebels went 1-2 this past weekend with a victory against Texas Tech and hard-fought losses to Tennessee and Texas Christian. For game reports, check out the Schedule/Results tab on the top of the page.
