April 25- Atlanta, GA - Ole Miss Sr. Goaltender Nick Loverde, Baltimore, MD was selected to the ALL SouthEastern Conference Mens Lacrosse Team. Was announced this afternoon by the SELC committee in Atlanta, GA. " Nick deserved it he has played above and beyond for our team this season." said Coach Aiello. "Its the first time in program history that a player has been selected to the ALL-SELC team." said Aiello. Nick was a four year starter and is graduating in December 2013 and  will help out with the goalies this coming fall, for the Rebels.

April 25 - Oxford, MS - Coach Aiello has announced his 2013-2014 recruitng class. " I am excited to have these young men join our program, the goal has been all along to build a winner, and that is what we are doing.  I think one of the key ingredients to successful team is combination of players throughout the country, its a good mix for us." The Rebels to start Fall ball August 25.

The Rebels will travel to Long Island in April of 2014 to play two games one of the games against a very good UCONN program @ Hofstra Stadium before the Hofstra Pride take on St. Josephs PA.  "This is a tremendous opportunity for our team and awesome exposure for our school and the Ole Miss Lacrosse program, its very special to me being born and raised on Long Island nand having the opportunity to come back with a very special group of young men. Its also the very frist time an SEC lacrosse team will be playing in the NY area, we are excited and our privileged to be playing at Hofstra and thanks to Coach Tierney for inviting us up, playing a quality team like UCONN will only make us better." said Aiello.

Ole Miss is starting to put together their 2014 schedule and with the program moving in an upward direction, Coach Aiello has started to put together a very tough National schedule including teams like Missouri, Texas, UCONN, PITT, LSU, Texas State, and their traditional Division foes such as Georgia, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Auburn and Alabama. "We just want to grow as a program and become postseason contenders and we need to play the best in order to be in the upper echelon of MCLA lacrosse especially in the SELC." Coach Aiello said. Those fans that cannot be in Johns Creek, Georgia for the 3 day, 16 team event will be treated to all the semi final and championship games via the website www.laxtv.com on April 27th and 28th.
